Can you believe we’re already in Episode 4 of the pregnancy series? Time is flying by so fast, and before we know it, Baby Coelho will be here with us! To make the journey even more fun, I thought it would be a great idea to dive into a light-hearted and playful game—our very own “He or She” quiz, but with a maternity twist!
As you probably already know, Ícaro and I are pretty competitive when it comes to games. So, when it came time to answer these questions, we were both ready to give our best answers. But the real fun came when we started imagining what kind of parents we’ll be and who will take on which roles once our little one arrives. Will Ícaro spoil the baby? Or will I be the softie? Who will wake up in the middle of the night to calm our little one? Let’s just say, we had a lot of laughs while answering these questions!
The “He or She” Game: Parent Edition
Here are some of the questions we answered in the quiz. You’ll see that they’re all centered around what our lives will look like once Baby Coelho enters the picture. We had to predict who would do what in the early stages of parenthood, and some of the answers were definitely a bit surprising. We got really into it—so let’s dive in!
1. Who will cry the most during the birth?
Well, anyone who knows Ícaro and I knows that we’re both emotional people. But let’s be real—he’ll probably be the one shedding a few tears while I try to keep it together!
2. Who will give the first bath?
This one was a toughie. I think we’re both going to be super involved in every moment, but I have a feeling Ícaro will be the one to take on this first milestone with Baby Coelho.
3. Who will spoil the child the most?
Uh, this one was a no-brainer. Ícaro’s definitely the softie of the two of us. Spoiling our little one will be his specialty, I’m sure!
4. Who will help more with homework?
It’s no surprise that I’m the homework helper in this relationship. I’m already envisioning late nights working on school projects!
5. Who will obey the child more?
I have a feeling both of us will be a little soft when it comes to saying “no,” but I think Ícaro might have a little trouble with enforcing the rules when Baby Coelho flashes that adorable smile.
6. Who will bother the pediatrician the most?
This one’s probably me, to be honest. I can already imagine asking a thousand questions about every little cough or sniffle, just to make sure everything’s okay with our baby.
7. Who will blow the pacifier and not wash it when it falls on the floor?
Haha, Ícaro! I know he’ll be the one to just give it a quick blow and pop it back in. I’ll probably be the one with the baby wipes at the ready.
8. Who will be the first to take the baby to a fast food joint?
Well, I don’t think it’ll be me! I’m all about healthy choices, so Ícaro, I’m leaving this one to you!
9. Who will the baby obey the most?
Definitely Ícaro. I just know our little one will be wrapped around his finger in no time.
10. What will be the first word the baby says: Mom or Dad?
We’re both hoping for “Mama,” but let’s be honest, Dad probably has the upper hand in this one.
11. Who will play more?
This one was easy. Ícaro will definitely be the playful one. I can already picture him building forts and making funny faces for Baby Coelho.
12. Who will make the tastiest baby food?
This one goes to me—I’m all about cooking, and I’m already brainstorming some healthy recipes for our little one!
13. Who will be the first to wake up when the baby cries?
I think it’s safe to say we’re both going to be on high alert, but Ícaro might be the one to jump up first. He’s got that protective, caring nature.
14. Who will be the most paranoid with illness?
Definitely me! I can already feel myself researching everything I can about baby health, so Ícaro will probably be the one trying to calm me down.
15. Who will enforce the rules the most?
That’s me! I’m the one who will be making sure Baby Coelho knows right from wrong, but don’t worry—there will be plenty of love mixed in with those rules!
16. Who will buy everything the child asks for?
I think we both know the answer to this one: Ícaro. He’s already planning on spoiling our little one with all the best toys and gadgets.
17. Who will change the diaper first?
This one goes to Ícaro too, as he’s already excited about those first diaper changes. But of course, I’ll be right there alongside him!
