Another episode of my pregnancy series is here, and I know this is one that many of you have been eagerly awaiting! From the moment I found out I was pregnant, I had a pretty strong intuition about the gender of our baby. But, as luck would have it, just before we were about to find out, a tiny bit of doubt crept in. Isn’t it funny how that happens? One moment you’re sure, and the next, you’re second-guessing everything!
But honestly, gender wasn’t the most important thing for Ícaro and me. The main thing on our minds was the health and well-being of our baby. All that mattered was that our little one was growing and developing beautifully, and thank God, that’s exactly what’s happening! As for whether we were having a boy or a girl—well, we didn’t mind at all. We were just excited to find out and begin imagining the life we’ll be sharing together.
The Big Reveal: A Baby of Leo
So, who guessed it right? Are we expecting a mini Camila or a mini Ícaro? Well, the suspense is finally over—we’re having a little boy, and he will be born under the sign of Leo. How exciting is that? According to the Zodiac, Leos are known for being full of energy, animation, and determination. I absolutely love this! It feels like the perfect fit for our little one. He’s going to be strong and full of personality, and I can already picture all the fun moments we’ll have with him as he grows up.
Even though the gender was exciting to discover, it was never our primary focus. We both just wanted a healthy baby, and knowing that everything is going smoothly brings us so much peace. But now that we know, the real fun begins—planning, decorating, and of course, picking out the perfect name!
Decorating Baby Coelho’s Room
Next on the agenda is baby Coelho’s room. We’ve been dreaming up ideas for a space that will be comfortable, peaceful, and full of love. I’ve been thinking about how to create an atmosphere that feels both calming and inspiring. Of course, there’s still so much to plan, but I can’t wait to show you all the details once it’s ready!
But here’s the challenge: naming our baby. Choosing a name feels like one of the most important decisions we’ll ever make, and we want to get it just right. We’re leaning toward a short name that will work in both Portuguese and English, considering we’re a Brazilian family living in the United States. It’s a bit tricky, but we’re excited to explore all the options.
